The research group at HUJI, led by Prof. Tamar Stein, invites applications for two postdoctoral positions.

The first position focuses on studying reactions in the interstellar medium, in both gas phase and ice environments.The second position will contribute to advancing density functional theory (DFT) capabilities for strongly correlated systems using the ensemble DFT formalism.

We seek candidates who demonstrate critical thinking and initiative, thriving both independently and collaboratively in an international research environment.

Position 1: Requires expertise in quantum chemistry methods (e.g., ab initio, XMS-CASPT2, DFT, QM-MM), experience in modeling chemical reactions, and a strong interest in astrochemical processes and electronic structure theory.

Position 2: Requires robust programming skills and a strong background in DFT.
